CASE: the break-arch case with rope-work mounts, pierced brass fretwork to sides, wooden fretwork to rear door, on gilt-brass bracket feet DIAL: the gilt-brass dial profusely engraved wtih foliate scrolls, with Roman hours and Arabic five minute marks, regulation dial to arch, signed LUND & BLOCKLEY to top of dial MOVEMENT: the two train chain fusee movement with recoil anchor escapement, rise and fall regulation, trip repeat and rack-striking to bell, backplate signed Lund & Blockley Successors to VINER 42 PALL MALL LONDON and numbered 2/269, with pendulum; case key
