The following group of Russian works of art (lots 222-234) from the collection of Lady Hambleden were all items inherited from her father, acquired during his tenure as Italian ambassador in Moscow between 1930-1935.

Painted with flowers within shaped panels edged with gilt flowers and scrolls, comprising: a teapot and cover, a two-handled sugar-bowl and cover, a milk-jug, a slop-bowl and ten cups and saucers
The slop-bowl: 6¼ in. (15.9 cm.) diameter
