Baluster form with fluted spout on partly-pierced bracket feet, sides embossed with flowers around two scroll-edged reserves, one vacant, the other engraved with a crest within buckle and strap cartouche with motto Deo Non Fortuna Pretus, the leaf-capped scroll handle with ivory insulators, domed cover lacking the top of the foliate finial
