EARLY 18TH CENTURY, THE FRAMING MOUNTS AND FEET 19TH CENTURY
Decorated overall in première partie with strapwork and Bérainesque grotesque scenes, the rounded rectangular top centred by the figure of Venus and her attendants under a lambrequin, flanked by scrolling foliage interspersed with figures and birds, within an entrelac engraved and an ormolu surround, above four long drawers mounted with drop handles and female mask escutcheons, between brass-fluted angles, the sides conformingly decorated, on scrolled feet
