One depicting the Adoration of the Magi in the manner of Rubens, signed 'JPVE pinx', the other depicting the Adoration of the Shepherds in the manner of Guido Reni, signed 'Johann Petrus Von. Esch. invenit et pinx' and dated '1691', within an Italian acanthus-scrolled giltwood frame, the frames stamped to the reverse 'HFB' with a triangular insignia
