The rectangular grey-veined white marble top with three-quarter pierced gallery above three frieze drawers, the cylinder enclosing three drawers and a gilt tooled green leather-lined pull-out slide, above a central drawer, flanked to the left by two drawers, and to the right by one drawer simulating two drawers, enclosing a coffre fort, flanked to the sides with pull-out slides, on fluted tapering legs headed by fluted panels, with brass caps and castors, stamped 'G.DESTER' and with remains of paper label to underside, the knobs handles later
