THE SPOONS AND FORKS MOSTLY WITH MARK OF GEORGE SMITH AND WILLIAM FEARN, LONDON, 1790, THE KNIVES APPARENTLY UNMARKED, CIRCA 1770, THE KNIFE-BOX, CIRCA 1770
The spoons and forks each threaded Old English pattern, engraved with a crest below a viscount's coronet, the knives with shell-capped pistol-grip handles, the associated knife box of typical form, the corners with chevron bands, with silver lock-plate and finial
the box 14½ in. (37 cm.) high
weight of silver 52 oz. 1 dwt. (1,619 gr.)
The crest is that of Spencer, as born by the Earls Spencer. (36)
