The cylindrical lignum vitae body carved with engine turned bands and flutes, the foot with crimped silver-gilt mount, the hinged cover with similar mounts, further applied with a carved ivory disk and with ivory fluted ball finial, with scroll handle, carved beneath with a rosette and the inventory number '126'
