The sphere with twelve hand-coloured engraved gores and two polar calottes, the prime meridian named Meridian of London ungraduated, the equator and ecliptic graduated, with brass graduated meridian ring and brass hour circle, the paper horizon with compass points, months of year, and houses of the Zodiac named and with their sigils, mounted on four mahogany baluster legs with pad feet and cross-stretchers
