Comprising:- nine mounted glass bottles (one with plated mount), a spirits flask, a small beaker, a tortoiseshell shoe horn and powder-pot, tortoiseshell-handled button-hook, clothes brush, pair of hair brushes in crocodile case, glove stretchers and 2 manicure items, all with silver coronet and monogram, and various crocodile leather items including a large wallet with silver-gilt corners, coronet and monogram and similar purse, in crocodile travelling case

Thomas Henry Thynne, 5th Marquess of Bath (1862-1946) was styled Viscount Weymouth until assuming the marquessate in 1896. He was a Conservative politician, MP for Frome 1886/92 and again 1895/96 and was Under Secretary of State for India in 1905.
