STAMPED F.C. MENANT, THIRD QUARTER 18TH CENTURY, POSSIBLY ADAPTED
In two sections of shaped rectangular form on fluted and spirally fluted legs, the rail of the smaller example stamped F.C.MENANT, this example partially re-railed and with two later legs, the decoration refreshed, possibly originally conceived as one corner banquette
The larger: 12¾ in. (32.5 cm.) high; 55½ in. (141 cm.) wide; 26¼ in. (66.5 cm.) deep
The smaller: 12¾ in. (32.5 cm.) high; 49 in. (124 cm.) wide; 23½ in. (60 cm.) deep (2)
