Tasting note: Four notes. Impressive colour but soft, not deep and with faint tinge of violet; full, rich, beetroot and cobnuts, great depth; as always, extra dimensions on the palate, very sweet, very soft yet mouthfilling flavour, great length, fabulous finish, very tannic, spicy aftertaste. Last tasted July 2004 **(***) Disarmingly lovely now yet criminal to drink too soon. Ideally 2015 - 2030. M.B.
