A matched pair of Victorian salvers in sizes,
each of shaped circular form and on claw and ball feet, with applied and chased bead, foliate and stylised shell borders, the grounds engraved with roundels containing vignettes of fruit and flowers and surrounded by scrolling foliage, Martin Hall & Co., Sheffield 1860 and 1863, the maker's marks differing, one engraved with a patent registration mark - 13¾in. (35cm.) and 12½in. (32cm.), 63.75oz. (2)
