The oval plateau cast with two scallop shell dishes, an amorial shield to front and back flanked by sea monsters, centred to each side by a cherubic triton with bifurcating tail, the raised central socle supporting two putti emblematic of orfèvrerie within an acanthus cast harp-shaped support beneath a pierced gadrooned bowl, stamped 'CHRISTOFLE' and numbered '617486'
