The serpentine crossbanded top inlaid in cube parquetry within an ormolu surround, above a single frieze drawer, and a simulated drawer to the reverse, fitted to each side with a green leather-lined pull-out writing slide, on cabriole legs headed by foliate and flowerhead-cast clasps terminating in acanthus sabots, signed to the reverse of the ormolu 'FL'
