Cast with anchors and fleur-de-lys, the arched top cast '1588 IFC'
33½ in. (85 cm.) high; 40¾ in. (103.5 cm.) wide
Provenance
Removed from Bekesbourne Old Palace, near Canterbury, built for Archbishop Cranmer in 1552 and more recently the home of Ian Fleming, Sotheby's, 12 November, 1991, lot 859.
