Georges Jacob and Franois-Honor Georges Jacob used this stamp between 1803-13 when they were also supplying furnishings to the Imperial Garde-Meuble.

Michel Ney (1769-1815), popularly known as Marshal or 'Marechal' Ney, was a French soldier and military commander during the French Revolutionary Wars and the Napoleonic Wars. He was one of the original 18 Marshals of France created by Napoleon.
