Each with a drapery and tasselled backplate hung over a patera, with eagle, chain and balls above a lion-mask issuing scrolling branches with giltmetal nozzles, re-gilt

Provenance

Certainly acquired before 1922-23 when illustrated in situ by Professor Sir Albert Richardson, P.R.A. in his sketch book.
