FIRST EDITION, intended by Brettingham to give the impression that he, not William Kent, was the architect of Holkham. Professor Richardson remodelled Emo Park in the 1960s for the Cholmeley Harrison family. This copy was printed in black ink, whereas most are in sepia. A pasted-on slip adds to the imprint: 'Sold in Dublin, at Wilson's, Bookseller, in Dame-Street, the corner of Palace-Street'. Archer 21; Harris 46; RIBA 372.
