With canted angles and later marble top, decorated with chequer bands, foliate scrolls and meandering floral tendrils, with baskets of flowers with birds, floral sprays and fruit with figure masks and cherubs heightened in ivory, the fall enclosing a marquetry interior with a tooled leather-lined writing panel, enclosed by a pair of panel doors below and with similar marquetry sides, on square tapering legs
