Comprising the black-lacquered momonari-bachi (peach-shaped bowl) helmet, metal maedate (forecrest) of a crescent moon, black-lacquered three-tier manju-jikoro (neck guard) with iron edging, the fukigaeshi (turn-backs) clad with dyed leather and with hishinui (cross-knot lacing), the mabisashi clad with dyed leather, five-tier yodare-kake (bib) of kittsukezane (lacquered iron plate formed in simulation of rows of laced scales), black-lacquered gomai-do (five section cuirass) with munaita (upper breast section) partially clad with dyed leather and with three tiers of close-laced kittsukezane, the upper edge with gilt and richly engraved stylized chrysanthemums in leafy scrolling and with matching fukurin on all five sections of the cuirass, matching kohaze (toggle fixtures for the wadakami-shoulder braces), dyed leather-clad gyoyo (shoulder brace covers) with gilt fukurin and applied gilt takanoha mon (hawk feathers badge), waki-ate (armpit guards) of three tiers of kittzukezane, padded kiko (brigandine) erimawashi (neck and shoulder mantle), the wadakami (shoulder braces) equipped with hinged rounded black-lacquered iron kobire (small shoulder guards), sode (shoulder guards) of seven tiers of shittsukezane, the kanmuri-ita (vertical upper tier) with gilt fukurin and metal fittings pierced and carved with chrysanthemums, five-splint iron shinogote (sleeves) with silver nunome zogan ("textile" inlay) of leafy scrolling, the hijigane (elbow roundel) and profusion of small iron roundels on the upper arms all with silver cherry blossoms within decorative surrounds, the tekko (hand covers) with double Takanoha (hawks feathers) mon (clan badge) kusazuri (skirt) of seven tassets each of five tiers of shittsukezane, close-laced Iyo haidate (thigh guard), black lacquered shino-suneate (lower leg guards), with its black lacquered box
