Meiji period (early 20th century), signed and dated Oju Sasaki Kanko sensei Yamagata shi Hasegawa Yoshiharu (made by Hasegawa Yoshiharu at Yamagata City at the request of Sasaki Kanko) Meiji Yonju-san nen haru (Spring 1910)
Finely cast and chiseled in the form of a court cap (eboshi), the top section lifting off to reveal a detachable compartment, with black patina, signature on base
