A Blue and White Porcelain Waterdropper in the Form of a House
Joseon dynasty (19th century)
Modelled as a house with overhanging, ridged roof, with spout moulded at one end of the eaves and an air hole pierced at the midpoint of the roof beam, each of the four sides freely painted in underglaze cobalt with a different spray of flowers and the channels between the roof ridges filled with blue, the whole vessel applied with a clear glaze; four unglazed spur marks at the four corners of the glazed base
