A bronze figure of Chowang Gyaltsen
Tibet, circa 16th century
Seated in dhyanasana on a lotus base, his right hand in vitarkamudra and his left holding a book, the palms and soles of his feet incised with lotus blossoms, the hems of his flowing sanghati incised with a foliate pattern, his lips and eyes inlaid with copper, wearing a pointed cap, the base with an inscription and sealed with a double-vajra
