A silver figure of White Mahakala
Tibet, circa 16th century
Standing on two prostrate elephants over a copper lotus base holding a curved knife and skull cup in his principle hands with the others outstretched, clad in a short dhoti with billowing folds and adorned with various necklaces hanging over his rotund belly, the face with bulging eyes and flaming brows, the hair in tight curls at the front and secured in a tall chignon with a headband, the base sealed and incised with a double-vajra and inscription
