Two bronze daggers with anthropomorphic hilts
Vietnam, 2nd Century B.C.
The first with blade incised with a chevron pattern, the hilt in the form of a female standing with hands on her hips, adorned with various necklaces and large hoop earrings, the face with wide eyes and delineated eyelashes, the hair tied in a wide bun; the second with a hilt in the form of a male figure with his hands on his hips, dressed in a short robe with pendant fold at the back, the face with wide eyes, flanked by hoop earrings, and surmounted by a circular headdress
