Crossbanded and with foliate and egg-and-dart mouldings, the superstructure of D-shaped outline and with a pierced arcaded gallery, enclosed by a central panel door inset with a plaque of a bird and her young on blossoming branches before a seascape, flanked by open compartments to either side, the lower part decorated with stylised anthemion motifs with paterae and fitted with a frieze drawer with oval plaques with birds on blossoming stems, on simulated fluted turned tapering legs joined by a rising cross stretcher, the central galleried oval platform on turned feet
