A RARE CELADON-GLAZED CARVED BOWL
KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
The deep bowl is delicately carved on the exterior with a floral scroll bearing six large blossoms between a band of leaf tips below and a key-fret border above, all covered in a soft green glaze. The interior is incised under a clear glaze with two five-clawed dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls above a central shou character.
8 5/16 in. (21 cm.) diam.
