A PAIR OF IRON-RED-DECORATED STEM CUPS
18TH CENTURY
The thinly potted sides of each bowl are delicately painted in shaded tones of iron red with three fish, and the spreading stem foot is encircled at the top by a bow-string band. An apocryphal Chenghua mark is in underglaze blue on the inside of the foot of each.
