A RARE PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE YELLOW-GROUND 'MEDALLION' BOWLS
JIAQING SEAL MARKS IN IRON RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820)
Each bowl has deep rounded sides that rise to a slightly everted rim, and are finely decorated on the exterior against a lemon-yellow ground with four roundels enclosing vignettes of 'antiques' in a garden setting that are separated by lotus blossoms positioned below a gilt wan emblem and borne on conjoined scrolling tendrils.
