FOUR FAMILLE ROSE SGRAFFITO RUBY-GROUND 'MEDALLION' BOWLS
LATE QING DYNASTY
The exterior of each bowl is delicately enameled and gilded with four medallions enclosing the 'Lanterns of Abundance', feng deng, surrounded by floral sprays reserved on a ruby-pink sgraffito ground. The interior is painted in underglaze blue with ribbon-tied lanterns above a formal medallion in the center.
