A LARGE FAMILLE ROSE DISH
LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY
The dish is painted on the interior with two bees hovering above two flowering branches. The larger, brown branch bears pink blossoms and extends upwards around the curve of the dish, while the smaller grey branch bears white blossoms, and is crossed by a peony branch with iron-red flower and bud. The two branches continue onto the exterior where they extend around the sides in opposite directions.
