A GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF AMITAYUS
18TH CENTURY
Shown seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base with hands in dhyana mudra holding the vase of amrita, and wearing 'jewel'-inlaid jewelry and a Sanghati. The hair is pulled up into a tall topknot behind the tall crown and falls in long segments down the sides of the shoulders.
