A PAIR OF EMBELLISHED ZITAN-VENEERED WALL PANELS

Each rectangular panel is embellished in jade, hardstones and wood with a central vase containing flowers surrounded by various 'antiques' and reserved on a greyish-blue ground. Each back is covered in black lacquer and painted in gilding with various flowers and bamboo. The zitan-veneered frames have rounded corners and beaded edge, and are carved with a double bow-string band.
