TWO SMALL RUBY GLASS FACETED BOTTLE VASES
QIANLONG FOUR-CHARACTER WHEEL-CUT MARKS WITHIN SQUARES AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The body of each vase is cut with eight slightly concave facets that continue up the slightly tapering neck as well as on the foot. One vase is of deep, ruby color. The other is of a more cherry-red color, and is raised on a slightly higher foot than the first.
