A CARVED RED LACQUER RUYI SCEPTER
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The ruyi-shaped head is carved with the Three Star Gods, Fu Lu Shou, standing with a deer under a pine tree in a mountainous landscape scene. The center of the arched handle is carved with two cranes, one looking up at the other in flight, and the shaped end is decorated with a deer, and pierced and strung with a yellow silk tassel. The sides are carved with key fret, and the reverse with wan diaper.
