A MOTTLED YELLOW AND PALE BROWN JADE FIGURE OF A RECUMBENT HORSE
MING DYNASTY, 16TH-17TH CENTURY
The horse is finely carved with legs tucked under the rounded body and head turned backwards, and the mane and tail have finely detailed hair hair markings. The softly polished stone is of mottled yellow and pale brown color with some darker striations to the reverse.
