A PALE GREYISH-GREEN JADE VASE AND A COVER
19TH CENTURY
The vase has a flattened baluster body carved in high relief around the sides with a lotus pond, its swirling waters forming the base, and with two swallows shown in flight on one side. The neck is flanked by a pair of scroll handles. The faceted cover has a rope-twist finial. The semi-translucent stone is of pale greyish-green color.
