A WHITE AND RUSSET JADE PEACH CARVING

Well carved as a bat with one outstretched wing alighted atop a large peach borne on a leafy gnarled branch that continues around the sides and forms the base. The stone is of an even white tone with russet staining on one side.
2 in. (5 cm.) long
Provenance
Acquired in Hong Kong in the 1960s-70s.
