Each is well carved and pierced with figures in a mountainous setting, on one Shoulao stands holding a peach on a terrace while his attendant stands behind holding a gnarled staff hung with a scroll, and on the other a scholar is holding a lingzhi stem while his attendant holds a basket beneath a pine tree. There are waisted, lotus petal-carved mounts at either end. The semi-translucent stone is of mottled green color.
