THREE JADE ARCHAISTIC BI
LATE MING/QING DYNASTY, 17TH/19TH CENTURY
One is white with added russet color, and carved on one side with two chilong crawling around the edges, and on the reverse with scroll designs. The largest is of grey-green color carved in relief on one side with two chilong, and on the reverse with grain pattern within plain borders. The third of white and pale brown color is carved in relief on one side with a lion and its cub playing with a ribbon-tied brocade ball, and the reverse is carved with interlocking scroll pattern.
