TWO RUYI SCEPTER-FORM GARMENT HOOKS
19TH CENTURY
The larger, of pale greenish-white jadeite, is carved with shou medallions on the ruyi-shaped head and at the end above a circular button on the reverse, and in the center with a shou character in an oval panel. The smaller, of white jade, is carved on the ruyi head with a bat, in the center with archaistic designs, and the end is of ruyi shape. There is an oval button on the reverse.
