A SMALL WHITE AND REDDISH-RUSSET JADE 'PEACH' PENDANT
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The pendant is carved in the round as a large and a small peach highlighted by the reddish-russet skin on one side and borne on a leafy, openwork branch that forms the loop and is carved with a bat, while two other bats are on the white reverse.
2 1/8 in. (5.4 cm.) high
Provenance
Lizzadro Collection, Chicago, Illinois, acquired prior to 1960.
