A WHITE JADE CIRCULAR PENDANT
19TH CENTURY
One side is carved in low relief with two seated phoenixes shown facing each other below trailing vapor, and on the reverse with a four-character seal, bi yi tong xin (share the same love and life together), all below a phoenix amidst clouds carved in openwork at the top. The stone is semi-translucent.
2½ in. (6.3 cm.) high
