A WHITE JADE BALUSTER VASE AND COVER
The vase is of oval section and the tapering body is carved in high relief with a long-tailed bird perched on the trunk of a pine tree that rises from the rocks carved to one side of the foot. The waisted neck is flanked by a pair of monster-mask and loose ring handles, and the cover is surmounted by another bird.
8½ in. (21.8 cm.) high
