A PAIR OF MOTTLED GREEN AND PALE RUSSET JADEITE FEMALE IMMORTAL GROUPS
Carved in mirror image, each depicts a female immortal holding a flywhisk in one hand and an antler of the deer on which she is seated in the other. The deer is standing amidst vapor that rises from the clouds that form the openwork base. The mottled stone shades from pale greenish-white to pale russet and soft emerald-green color.
6 5/8 and 6½ in. (16.8 and 16.2 in.) high, wood stands (2)
