A SMALL CARVED BEIGE AND GREEN CAMEO AGATE SNUFF BOTTLE
OFFICIAL SCHOOL, 1760-1850
Of rounded ovoid form, and raised on an oval ring foot, the bottle is carved in relief on one side with a large catydid incorporating some of the green inclusions, and on the reverse with a lotus plant, with one small green leaf, and a larger leaf on one of the narrow sides on which sits a green frog.
1¾ in. (4.5 cm.) high, pink glass stopper
