The case with frets to front and sides, pierced and engraved with intertwined fish above an arcaded gallery, the 6¼ in. dial engraved with flowers and a lions mask to centre and signed Peeter Closon at holboron * Bridge Fecit *, silvered chapter ring with Roman hours, alarm disc, with verge escapement and count wheel strike on the hour and passing strike at the half hour, with 'matchstick man' and 'PC' cast mark, formerly with balance wheel escapement and alarm, with weights
