Woven in silks and wools, depicting Clymene, mother of Phaeton, and her four daughters at Phaeton's grave, within a wooded landscape, within a ribbon-tied laurel border centred to the top with a cartouche reading 'LUCTUC AD PHAENTONTIS BUSTUM', the sides with quivers and bows, the main field reduced in size
12 ft. 4 in. x 15 ft. (375 cm. x 460 cm.)
