Lot Essay

Boyle Family developed their concept of contemporary archaeology in the 1960s, to find and present evidence of the contemporary world as if they were archaeologists studying past societies and civilizations. Whilst this led them to their World Series project of planet Earth, they also undertook several important series in and around their home in the city of London, including the Westminster Series.
